Air Jamaica offers numerous opportunities for clients to earn bonus miles. Enrollment to the card alone gives clients 500 bonus miles and 250 bonus miles for every flight booked online with the use of the 7th Heaven Card. Air Jamaica also has over a thousand partners worldwide where passengers can purchase products or services with bonus miles for every pre-determined amount.

Cabin Amenities and Classes

    There are two flight classes that are offered by Air Jamaica — Lovebird Executive and Deluxe Economy. Prior to the departure, passengers are welcome to use Lovebird Executive Lounges available at the Norman Manley International Airport and Donald Sangster International Airport. The airline also provides special menus for passengers in the Lovebird Executive class. Special requests are expected to have been made 24 hours before the departure time.

    Complimentary headsets are provided for all passengers as well as in-flight music services, which can range from reggae to classical. Deluxe Economy passengers receive complimentary snacks with a choice of juice, tea, coffee or soda. A selection of other foods as well as alcoholic beverages is available for purchase.

    Alcoholic beverages are complimentary for Lovebird Executive class passengers. They are, however, only available for purchase for Lovebird Economy Class passengers. Cocktails are usually sold at $5 each and wines at $3 each. Only alcoholic beverages that are served by flight attendants can be consumed during the flight. Otherwise, other beverages are not allowed to be carried inside the aircraft.

Baggage Policy

    All baggage for check-in or to be carried inside the aircraft should comply with Air Jamaica’s allowed maximum weight which is 50 lbs. for Lovebird Economy and 70 lbs. for Lovebird Executive. Excess baggage will be charged an additional fee depending on the destination. Baggage exceeding 70 lbs. shall be shipped via cargo.
