Cape Air

    One of the largest independent regional airlines in the United States, Cape Air was established in the year 1989. With the parent company known as Hyannis Air Service, Cape Air is headquartered at Barnstable Municipal Airport in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Cape offers scheduled passenger services in the Northeast, Florida, the Caribbean, Midwest, and Micronesia. Flights in Micronesia are operated as United Express flights through a code share partnership with United Airlines. Flights between Hyannis and Nantucket, Massachusetts, are operated under the Nantucket Airlines brand, also operated by Hyannis Air Service. Cape Air also has codeshares with JetBlue Airways and American Airlines. The airline has won many awards and accolades since its inception.


    Cape Air's roots are planted in New England, but we serve 44 cities throughout the Northeast, Midwest, Eastern Montana, the USVI, BVI, West Indies, British West Indies, Puerto Rico and Micronesia.

Cape Air's baggage policy is as follows

    Travelers are allowed one piece of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. and size of 62 linear inches (total length + width + height) plus 1 gate checked bag sized to pass through TSA screening and which would fit into the overhead bin of a connecting flight jet aircraft. As far as carry-on bags are concerned, travelers are allowed to place a personal wing item (laptop, briefcase, diaper bag etc.) that should not exceed 36 linear inches.

    The airline offers an inflight magazine called the Bird's Eye View for all its travelers.
