Frequent Flyer Program

    Emirates provides the frequent flyer program “Skywards” for its frequent flyers. This program has three levels of membership: Blue, Silver and Gold. The membership tier is based upon the mileage earned, and also the privileges and benefits vary based upon the tier level. Once sufficient miles have been accumulated, they can later be redeemed for benefits such as reward flights with Emirates and partner airlines, seat upgrades, free stay at international hotels, car hire, tours and excursions with Arabian Adventures.

Cabin Amenities and Classes

    Emirates offers good service and facilities for its passengers in First, Business and Economy Class.

    First class passengers are offered a complete suite with facilities of mini-bar, coat rack and storage. They are offered comfortable sleeper seats that can be adjusted by using a handheld controller. They enjoy multi-course meals and snacks on long haul flights and complimentary drinks in-flight like cocktails, premium wines, champagne and spirits.

    The cabin amenities for Business class passengers include comfortable sleeper seats that can recline to 180 degrees on selected routes and also work simultaneously with facilities such as laptop charging, sending an SMS, e-mail or phone right from their seat. They can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner along with desserts on long haul flights. In addition to this, they are also served complimentary drinks including cocktails, champagne and wines on all flights except for Saudi Arabia.

    Economy class passengers also enjoy complimentary drinks (beer, spirits, red and white wine) and multi-course meals. As a part of in-flight entertainment, they are offered seatback monitors to enjoy the audio and video programming. They are also offered the facility of SMS, e-mail and phone from their seats.

Baggage Policy

    The baggage policy of Emirates allows Economy class passengers to check-in 66 lbs, Business class passengers to check-in 88 lbs and First class passengers to check-in 110 lbs of luggage. The maximum weight of any single piece of luggage should not exceed 70 lbs.

    First class and Business class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of carry-on baggage (one briefcase and one handbag). The total combined weight of both the bags should not exceed 26 lbs. The dimension of the briefcase should be 18x14x10" and of the handbag should be 55x15x8". Economy class passengers are allowed only a single piece of hand baggage with maximum weight of 15 lbs and maximum dimension to be 22x15x8".
