KLM Destinations

    Established in October 1919 to serve the Netherlands and its colonies, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is today the oldest airline still operating under its original name. KLM's headquarters is in Amstelveen near its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The airline operates worldwide scheduled traveler and cargo services to more than 90 destinations and employees more than 30,000 employees till date. KLM has been part of the AIR FRANCE KLM group since the merger in 2004 of which it is the core. The group further includes the wholly owned subsidiaries KLM Cityhopper, and Martinair. But even after the merger, both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their distinct brand names. Air France-KLM is part of the SkyTeam alliance.     We make your worries float away with our sinkable World Business Class seats. Sleeper Seat onboard World Business Class is 190 cm long and 170 - 175 degrees reclinable as well as equipped with a massage unit. There’s a privacy canopy, personal entertainment system, in-seat power, and international newspapers and magazines for your reading pleasure.
    With our delicious 3-course menu prepared specially by top Dutch chefs, we certainly whet you appetite for more. All meals are served on Marcel Wanders crockery and accompanied with a glass of fine wine or other beverage of your choice.
    Our cabin attendants are happy to help you with any request. Naturally, you can also take home one of our famous Delft Blue miniature houses filled with genuine Dutch gin!

Europe Business Class

    On board we offer an ergonomically designed seat with extra legroom. KLM serves a snack or freshly made sandwich, depending on the time and duration of your flight. You can choose from hot and cold beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There’s a copy of the Holland Herald for your reading pleasure and we also provide on-board shopping on flights longer than 60 minutes.

    1. The Delta Project

    Delta Works or the Delta Project are a series of constructions built between 1950 and 1997 in the provinces of Zeeland and South Holland to protect large areas of land from the sea. The works consist of dams, sluices, locks, dikes, and storm surge barriers. They have been declared one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Don’t miss this at any cost!

    2. Maastricht Vrijthof

    The Vrijthof is a very famous city square in Maastricht, a city in the southern most part of the Netherlands. It houses the magnificent Saint Servatius Church and Saint Jan’s Cathedral. The Vrijthof regularly hosts large festivals at various times throughout the year, including autumn and winter festivals. Go ahead and catch one of these!

    3. Rijksmuseum

    It is the largest and most prestigious museum for art and history in the Netherlands. Located in Amsterdam, it has a large collection of paintings from the Dutch Golden Age including works by Vermeer and Rembrandt. Until 2013, the museum is being completely renovated, but the major masterpieces are still on show.

    4. Kinderdijk

    More than 1,000 old windmills still exist in the Netherlands. The largest concentration of Dutch windmills can be found near the village of Kinderdijk (Children’s dike). They have been well preserved to the present day and are now popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands.

    5. Hoge Veluwe

    The Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. The Kröller-Müller Museum with it large collections of paintings by Vincent van Gogh is located within the park. Bicycles are available for free to visitors of the Hoge Veluwe, with much of the area being inaccessible by car.
