Inflight Entertainment

Monarch offers pre-bookable meals at an extra charge. A newly added feature, this allows the travelers to move away from being able to buy your meals once you are on board the aircraft. Alternatively, we provide a buy on board program offering food for purchase on board the aircraft. During the flight there is the option to buy products such as fragrances on board the aircraft. For your reading pleasure, there is a monthly in-flight magazine including a travel guide, and a map of Monarch's destinations. A selected inflight entertainment is available on all long-haul flights, showing TV programs, movies, offering music and games, etc. We also offer a limited inflight entertainment selection on medium-haul flights. Premium upgrades are predominantly available on long haul routes, which include more legroom and seatback entertainment. Monarch Airlines is preparing to be the first British carrier to offer wireless Internet access onboard its aircraft.

Service Class

Monarch Airlines offers two classes, Economy and Premium. In the Premium Class, travelers can look forward to wider seats and extra legroom with a 34-inches seat pitch, increased seat recline, with adjustable headrests, individual seat back or personal video entertainment system, complimentary use of upgraded headsets, give-away amenity packs, complimentary welcome drink and free bar service, upgraded catering with a choice of entree and a superior wine, dedicated check-in counters at most airports, and priority boarding and baggage reclaim.
The airline has released the special edition Class Top Trump deck to celebrate the launch of Monarch’s brand new ‘Build Your Own Class’ service that gives customers the ability to tailor their flight package to their exact requirements, providing a greater sense of freedom and personalization. We understand its customers have differing needs and wants when travelling and believes customers should not be restricted by a predetermined service. Monarch customers are therefore encouraged to define their own style of travel and blur the airline class distinctions. When booking flights, Monarch customers have the option to tailor their onboard service and meals exactly to their requirements so they only pay and receive the elements that they desire.
