Service Class

    Virgin Atlantic offers a three-class cabin configuration on all its flights. These include Economy, Premium Economy and Upper Class.

Economy

    Traveling through our Economy Class means never economizing on comfort. Travelers choosing Virgin Atlantic’s Economy Class can look forward to sitting back and relaxing the moment they step in. It’s our special touches here and there and eye for detail that makes our Economy cabin so comfortable. Featured here are fully adjustable seats, attentive service, and everything possible to give you the smoothest of journeys. In our Economy Class, you’ll find your choice of complimentary drinks and delicious meals. Please tell us if you have any special dietary requirements and we'll happily tailor your inflight menu.
    In case you are flying with family, you needn’t worry at all. Our flights have all you need to keep your little ones entertained. K-iD backpacks bursting with goodies, a kid's channel on the seat-back TV, plus tasty child meals. They won't have a chance to fidget.
    Those little extras do matter, and therefore we have everything covered. Enjoy our Seatback magazine, luxurious retail therapy, an amenity kit jam-packed with essentials, and KiD bags for the little ones.

Premium Economy

    Virgin Atlantic welcomes you to blissful indulgence through its Premium Economy Class. You’ll certainly savor the space while stretching out and relaxing in our luxurious leather seats. With 38 fabulous inches of pitchroom, you’re sure to be travelling in comfort. There are special purple seats featuring on flights from London Heathrow, with the same being introduced on other routes very soon. But our other Premium Economy seats are just as comfy. Traveling through Premium Economy means enjoying multiple privileges including dedicated check in and bag drop, priority boarding and where possible, you and your bags will be one of the first off the plane when we arrive. Our attentive and dedicated cabin crew is always close at hand to take care of you as you relax in the Premium Economy cabin.
    As far as dining and wining is concerned, be ready to savor the best of delicious dining. Your meal is served on china dinnerware with stainless steel cutlery. Plus, there’s a choice of exquisite wines and an after dinner liqueur to round things off.

Upper Class

    Upper Class is the equivalent of business class on all Virgin Atlantic Airways’ flights. The airline does not offer a traditional First Class cabin service. The Upper Class seat is claimed by the airline to be the biggest fully flat bed of any airline’s business class service. The seat offers in-seat laptop power and power leads for iPods, and Upper Class travelers get access to a chauffeur, drive-through check-in and private security channel at selected airports, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses, a larger menu than that of Premium Economy and Economy travelers and an in-flight bar. The seats in the Upper Class cabin are arranged in a Herringbone seating design. Enjoy carefully selected meals throughout your flight, onboard shopping, comprehensive entertainment system and more!

    Now in its 27th anniversary year, the OAG Airline Industry Awards are hugely significant and valued in the airline industry because the awards are voted for by frequent flyers all over the world.
