This serves as its main hub in eastern Canada. Frequent Flyer Program

    WestJet Airlines has a rewards redemption program available. Customers can redeem their AIR MILES and this is available for scheduled destinations within Canada and the continental U.S. It is easy to redeem these AIR MILES. You simply have to call 1-888-AIR-MILES (1-888-247-6453) Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and midnight (ET) and Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (ET).

Cabin Amenities and Classes

    All WestJet Boeing 737 flights are equipped with live seatback televisions. Passengers have the option to change channels or volume individually. Almost all WestJet flights have Buy on Board facility. With this you can buy snacks of your choice; price ranges between $1 and $6.

Baggage Policy

    WestJet allows two carry-on bags of 22 lbs each and two check-in baggage of 50 lbs each on all domestic and international flights. Size of carry-on baggage can either be 22" x 9" x 16" or 17" x 40" x 13" and that of check-in baggage is 62". There is a $75 charge per extra piece and a $40 charge per item that is overweight. Similarly, if the baggage is oversize, they charge $40. If you are going to carry special items like sports equipment, scuba, skis, fishing rods, bicycles, skateboards, etc., you will need to contact 1-888-WESTJET (937-8538), and they will provide the necessary packing instructions and answer any other related queries.

    If baggage is delayed, passengers must inform the Customer Service Agent within one hour of reaching the destination if traveling on domestic flights and within 24 hours if on international flights. If the baggage doesn’t reach the destination within a 24-hour period, customer can spend $25 a day for three days to replace needed items. If the baggage doesn’t reach within 30 days, one can claim up to a maximum of $250.
